Up for auction is a vintage folded stampless letter and cover combination that was written at and mailed from Providence, Rhode Island and addressed to Reverend Benjamin Hill, Corresponding Secretary of the American Baptist Home Mission Society, New York City.  Short letter was from V.J. Bates, Treasurer Rhode Island Baptist State Convention..1847 dated letter has edge tears and a turned corner...........
