Up for auction is a vintage stampless cover with letter that was mailed from Carlisle, Pennsylvania and addressed to Reverend R. (Reuben) Nelson, Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, PA.  Letter is datelined Dickinson College March 12, 1849.  Letter was from William H. Allen and has to do with the results of examinations determining what grade class a student should enter..Paper has cover sheet staining..
