1880 Letter G. B Marsan Galveston Fisherman To Menger Hotel San Antonio Texas.
The Menger Hotel bought many barrels of fish and oysters from G. B. Marsan Company through the years…as evidenced by several letters found with the Menger documents. This is the last one we have. We are including two photos. One is of the building in Galveston, courtesy of the Texas Historical Commission and the University of North Texas Libraries. There is an ad from the “Galveston Daily News” 12/21/1880.
