Suzuki made their 3 digit code series keys in 2 different lengths: The short version and long version.
The first picture is a sample of all three key blanks to show the difference. The listing is for 2 blanks
Even though your bike is listed in the compatibility section of this listing your bike must also use
the code range 101-499,
if it doesn’t, this is not the correct blank for your bike.
You'll have to take them and your current working key to a locksmith, hardware store or reputable key cutter and have them cut before they can be used in your ignition or lock.
Before you have them cut,
make sure this blank is correct for your ignition or lock by sliding the
uncut
key blank into the key hole. If the blank will not slide in the key hole, it's not the correct blank
.
The key blanks you receive may be a different brand or head (bow) shape than the one pictured.
Places to look for your bike's key code:
* Stamped on the blade of your original OEM key.
* Stamped on the ignition housing or on a sticker on the ignition, removal of the switch will probably be necessary to find the code.
* Hand written in the original owners manual or on other paperwork that came with your bike when it was purchased new. The original owner or dealership may have written the key code in there somewhere.
No returns on key blanks that have been cut.
