    Description

Listed here are three rare documents pertaining to the First Universalist Church in Providence, Rhode Island.
The first document is a pew rental for number 16 in the chapel, assigned to Daniel Randall. One of the folded parts of this document is detached from the rest. This document is dated 1825 and contains a raised seal of the society. An annotation on the back from 1834 conveys the pew from Randall to Jacob B. Thurber, and an additional annotation conveys the pew from Thurber to Thomas Lincoln and Sylvester R. Jackson in 1839.
The second document is a Mortgage Deed from the society to the People's Savings Bank in Providence, dated
    November 27, 1855.
The third document is a Warranty Deed from Luke Hazard to the society, dated November 26, 1855.
A nice piece of Providence history!!
