The current flag of California is meant to be a recreation of the original Californian flag that was lost in the devastating earthquake of 1906. California was without a state flag until 1911. The grizzly bear that appears on the white field is now extinct but in 1846 would have been an ideal symbol of ferocity. Adopted in 1849, the grizzly bear also appears in the state seal.
Made to official state design specifications, our miniature desk flag line utilizes the latest in digital printing technology to replicate the most detailed of designs onto a polyester fabric.
Each flag is stapled to a @3/16" X 10" black plastic staff with gold-colored spear top.
This sized flag is perfect for when displaying onto desks, banquet tabletops, or within any flower arrangements.  They are sized perfectly for hand-held waving events, especially for parades or rallies or can even be used for school projects.
Combine these 4"X6" desk flags with our miniature desk flag stands.  Available in various styles from 1 through 10 holes which allows for endless combinations.
