Historic DocumentTWO SLAVE DOCUMENTS dated 1861 & 1863 - the first is from Campbellton, Missouri and is a court document requesting information about a black man who was freed by his owner - the man's name was Bob Eweing and the former owner was Patsey Eweing of Logan County, Kentucky. The second (smaller) item December 25, 1861 from an agent for the hire of a (slave) woman Eliza and her boy Clay for the upcoming year of 1861. The larger document measures 7 3/4 by 7 1/3 inches and the smaller one measures 7.5 inches by 2 3/4 inches.
