Vintage Sweet Sue 15” American Character 1950s Walker Doll All Original A Beauty

Featuring this beautiful American Character Sweet Sue Walker Doll from 1953.
Sweet Sue is a vintage 15” hard plastic doll who looks hardly played with.
Sweet Sue’s head turns as she walks. She is jointed at her neck, shoulders and hips. She poses very nicely, but she could use some tightening at the hips.
This stunning doll has an auburn wig in its original style, clear blue sleep eyes that open and close with real lashes on top. She has single stroke eyebrows and a beautiful complexion with rosy cheeks and a red closed mouth.
This lovely doll wears all of her original clothing. She wears a formal Cotillion tulle gown with an ivory lace squared portrait collar and an ivory brocade bodice. Her waistline and front of gown is decorated with red velvet bows. The gown is ivory satin with a mesh overlay decorated with rows of cross-crossing sequins and a ruffle at the hem. There is a 2” gap in the netting at front, but it does blend in and is not obvious. There are some blue stains on the gown. See photos. The gown closes in back with three working snaps. She also wears a hoop skirt, pink satin shoes that snap closed and she has red flowers in her hair.
